Privacy policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy applies to the ishquasar.com website and to the Daily Equation app (« Équation du jour »), in its web and Android versions. It explains, plainly, which data is processed and why.

In short: no account, no ads, no data sold. Your progress stays on your device. Only anonymous usage statistics help us improve the game.

1. Who is responsible?

Ishquasar is a personal, non-commercial project. For any question about your data, write to contact@ishquasar.com.

2. Data stored on your device

Daily Equation asks for no sign-up, no name and no e-mail address. Your progress (solved equations, streaks, badges, journey progress, settings) is saved only in your device's memory. It is not sent to us. If you uninstall the app or clear your browser data, that progress is deleted.

3. Anonymous usage statistics

To understand how the game is used and to improve it, the app measures its usage in an anonymous, aggregated way: for example the number of games played, the modes used or the screens visited. These measurements contain neither your name, nor your e-mail address, nor any identifier that could single you out, and they are never used for advertising.

4. What we do not do

5. Third-party services

Hosting: the website and the web version of the game are hosted by Netlify. Like any host, Netlify may keep technical logs (IP address, time of visit) to operate and secure the service.

Google Play: if you install the app from Google Play, Google processes some data under its own privacy rules, which we do not control.

6. Children

Daily Equation is intended for adults. The app knowingly collects no personal data, including from children.

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase and object. Since we keep no data that could identify you, most of these requests are handled by clearing the app data on your device. For any question, write to contact@ishquasar.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

8. Changes

If this policy changes, for example when new features arrive, the new version will be published on this page with its update date.
